HLER is a duo formed by Heikki Lindgren and Esa Ruoho, making improvisational expeditions into electronic sound. The sounds are sourced from a Mochika XL synthesizer, operated by Lindgren, and fed into various effects and Ruoho's laptop. Ruoho does his magic to which Lindgren reacts with new sounds. The resulting music is an unforeseeable form of electronic dialogue - no two performances are the same and they can not be recreated.
First HLER single will be published on March 27, followed by the album Realignment on April 12. A limited cassette edition of the album will be available.
To celebrate the occasion, Luola has published an exclusive live recording of HLER's performance, originally performed and aired on the Basso radio channel in February.
